The PURPOSE of the RIVER RANCH CHAPEL is to provide a time and place for worship on a regular basis at River Ranch Resort; to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at these worship services; to seek to evangelize River Ranch and the surrounding communities; to promote the cause of Christ and His influence in as many ways as possible throughout the area; and to support the cause of Christ in missions around the world.

The BASIC BELIEFS of the RIVER RANCH CHAPEL as stated in its constitution are: "We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired word of God and the basis for our beliefs. We believe in the atonement made by Jesus Christ as the only basis of salvation, the only means of reconciliation, and the only ground of justification. We affirm that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and that the church is a body of baptized believers having been born again through faith in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Holy Spirit. We state that the ordinances of the church are believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe in missions and evangelism as a means of reaching the world for Christ."

The MEMBERSHIP of the RIVER RANCH CHAPEL is made up of members from most every denomination. Being an interdenominational church, the qualifications for membership are that one be a born again believer in Jesus Christ the Son of God; that he or she shall have been baptized into a recognized church or shall have been baptized by the pastor of River Ranch Chapel. One may be a member in one of two ways: permanent members are those that have no membership in any other church except River Ranch Chapel; associate members are members of River Ranch Chapel and members of their church of choice some place else. Both permanent and associate members have equal rights and privileges in all matters of church polity and government.
